Several months ago, Ramón Verdugo, a great photographer (check out his work here) contacted us because he was looking for a product designer and was impressed with Homeless Design. So, we team up to develop his project, a small documentary about the delicate work of who dedicated their lives to do things they loved.
We didn’t think twice before saying yes!

Blanca Ortiz, our cofounder and product designer, was in the first stages of designing a side table at that moment. The idea was to film the whole process, from sketching to the finished piece. They worked together with Talavera de la Reina, Spain. Jesús is the definition of perfectionism and this is because, as Blanca, he loves what he does for living. As she said “One of the things I love most about my job is meeting people passionate about detail, like him. It is not very common nowadays but it is, indeed, a common characteristic of craftsmen. We had a really good time. And we will be for sure doing new things together shortly”.

We want to thank Ramón and Jesús, for giving us this wonderful opportunity and make us part of the project. It has been a pleasure working with you.

Here is the result, enjoy!
