This summer Homeless Design joins forces with the Spanish Fundación Española para la Innovación de la Artesanía (Fundesarte). This Foundation works towards the innovation and adaptation of Spanish craftsmanship with the new developments that the market demands. It promotes cross-sector cooperation to create products that meet consumer demands.

From July 13th to August 31st, the exhibition Crafts R/Evolution shows pieces from Spanish and Spain-based designers and craftsmen.

We cannot say it enough; traditional crafts gives design the advantage to create unique pieces, handmade with love and care with that something that drags you towards them. That something is history, values, people… all imprinted on an object where we can feel, touch and nurture them.

Fundesarte and Homeless aims to recover the past of material culture of objects designed and made by and for the people. Switch from clutter to acquire those things that tell stories and become part of our daily lives to write our own history.
