It is very exciting to see how a person, a career or a project grows. We are very proud of the Italian designer Cristiano Mino. His project Micol lamp won the Homeless Design 2012 chosen by the jury, Fernando and Humberto Campana. The competition was to challenge designers to created products to be produced optimizing material and time and still be appealing.

An object that rises from “the desire to self-produce a product with very few resources; a concrete brick, some wooden planks, and a simple sheet of recycled plastic.” He transforms material into a sensual and poetic touch of light.

We’ve seen Cristiano overcome the difficulties of the design world and being featured in many blogs and magazines after the Salone del Mobile 2012.

Homeless Design is glad to have had the opportunity to show great pieces from new talented designers on its first showroom.

Congratulations and thank you all for the support!
